Dr. Rosa Bobia
Professor Emerita Dr. Rosa Bobia joined KSU in 1985 as a Professor of French. Dr. Bobia also served as the Director of the Center for African and African Diaspora Studies. In addition to her work as a professor, Dr. Bobia was founder of the National Conference on Blacks in Higher Education (1988-1990) (alongside Professors Rodney Dennis and Harold Wingfield). In 2013, Dr. Bobia established the Dr. Rosa Bobia Endowed Scholarship to support undergraduate students studying Modern Language and Culture or African and African Diaspora Studies.
