Academic Study Lounge (ASL)
The SODI Academic Study Lounge (ASL) was established to support academic success and foster a sense of community among students in SODI’s student success programs. The state-of-the-art facility combines individual and group study spaces, with access to technology to enhance students’ academic experience.
A soft opening was held to officially open the study lounge on August 4th, 2021. Present for the opening were Interim Provost Dr. Ivan Pulinkala, Interim Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Sonia Toson, Foundation Relations Director Macie Thompson, and Strategic Outreach and Diversity Programs Director Dr. Linda Lyons, as well as program staff and student leaders.
The ASL opened for the first time to SODI students in August 2021.
